The University of Zakho officially signed an agreement on academic cooperation with Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, Ufa, Russia. This agreement was signed by Assistant Professor. Dr.Lazgin A.Jameel-President of the University of Zakho and Professor Dr. R.N.Bakhtizin- USPTU University Rector. It covers mutual visits for lecturers and researchers, student exchange programs, as well as joint research projects, academic events, and publications.
In the first stage of implementation of the agreement, Dr. Kanaan R Ahmed and Mr. Sherwan M Simo- Ph.D. student from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science of our university started to work in the laboratory of Lubricating Material at the Department of Oil and Gas Technology at USPTU. Likewise, Dr. Kanaan R Ahmed delivered a lecture to students of the Department of Oil and Gas Technology, Faculty of Technology. Besides graduate students, lecturers from Oil and Gas Technology Department attended this lecture.
